Speak Technologies Inc. (Speak) is a cloud-based productivity-enhancement solution provider. Our products and services deliver to you a personalized digital assistant ("Albi") that manages the most important aspects of everyday meetings. Albi turns ineffective and dreary meetings into effective, well communicated, productive events.

At Speak, we intend to provide you the most safe, secure and private set of products and services possible. That means we will be honest, direct and transparent when it comes to our handling, storage and using your data.

By accessing or using the Speak websites, applications, or services, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this policy. Each time you visit or use the website or web application, you agree and expressly consent to our collection, use and disclosure of the information that you provide as described in this Policy.

Information Speak Collects

To use Speak applications and services, you must be a customer or affiliated with a customer. When a customer creates a new account, the customer enters into a billing relationship with the Speak Technologies Inc. Thus, information required to perform billing services is collected. Then a customer or a user affiliated with the customer creates a login and profile using the Albi web application. As an Albi user, you are permitting Albi to record meeting audio and to use the Albi AI software to analyze meetings. These meeting conversations are stored and made available to you for review as long as you have a customer relationship.

To be completely transparent, when you register as a customer and use Albi Services we will collect the following information:

    • We gather this information from third-party calendars and conferencing services such as Google Calendar, Zoom, Uber Conference.

    • To present, past, and future meetings as a feature of the Albi Service
    • To provide a convenient and easy user experience to invite Albi and others to a meeting

    • Text Transcriptions of your meetings

    • Speaker timeline computed by Albi

    Why We Collect It and How We Use It:

    • A primary feature of the Albi Service is to create a searchable historical record of your meeting. Not only can you search the transcript you can also playback the relevant portion of the audio recording.
    • With your permission, we will use the content and context of your meetings to train Albi's AI engine. In this way, we can deliver action items and key decisions discovered in your meetings.
    • The datums are your synthesized meeting notes you desire from the service.

    We Collect Web Data to Improve Albi Services:

    • Information is collected from the web browser you sign in with

    • Information about the web browser is used to tune the visual experience of the Albi Application to the dimensions of your computer or phone

    We Share Information With Our Service Providers

    We use third-party service providers to process and manage aspects of the Speak service. Your data is shielded under each of these vendors privacy policies.

    We will not share your Personal Information with others unless you ask us to.If in the future, there is a reason to share your information, we will inform you in advance and give you an option to opt out. You will be able to opt out at support@speakmeetings.com

    Speak only collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested. Speak may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Speak. Speak does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

    Also, we will be transparent about requests for your data from a legal or regulatory organization or when responding to lawful requests or court orders. If some entity is requesting your data, we will inform you.



    Your choices about your data

    1. You as the customer instruct us what to do with your Data. You have many choices over what you can do. You can request modification and correction of your data. You can request the removal of your data from our system. You can deprovision access to our service. We will then retain no record of any personal data, usage data or other information. The AI engine will have no knowledge of you as a previous customer.
    2. EU data subjects are granted rights under the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR). EU subjects that wish to view, edit, delete, transfer, or otherwise restrict our use of their Personal Information should email support@speakmeetings.com, Attn: Privacy Officer.

    Information Collected from Minors

    Speak does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use our services or provide any information to us through the Services. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.     Security

    Speak is committed to protecting your information and we take appropriate commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and other security measures to help safeguard personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Our security practices include: encrypting many of our services using SSL; and frequent review of information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems. Please note, that no website or internet transmission is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or a data breach will never occur

    Privacy Shield

    Speak Technologies is in the process of complying with the framework set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Speak Technologies is currently in the process of certification to the Department of Commerce to show it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.     Enforcement and Privacy Complaints by EU and Swiss Citizens

    Accountability for Onward Transfer

    If we go through a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, customer data we gather from you may be part of the assets transferred or shared in connection with the due diligence for any such transaction.
